The Beggar's Opera by John Gay.

The cost of participation is £60 for singers and £40 for orchestral players. This includes script/score as appropriate.

The rehearsal schedule is as shown below. Please return regularly to this page as it will be kept up to date with any changes.

Regular (Weekday) Rehearsals

Music/chorus rehearsals will take place every Wednesday at the Quakers, all starting at 7:30pm except Wednesday 8th September and 22nd September which are for orchestra only (see below).

Orchestra rehearsals are the 25th August, 8th Sept, 22nd September at Quakers, all starting at 7:30pm.

Extra (Weekend) Rehearsals

Sunday 5th Sept 9:30am - 1.00pm, Elleray Hall, Elleray Road, Teddington, TW11 0HG. CHOREOGRAPHY - everyone needed, except orchestra

Sunday 12th September, all day rehearsal, 10:00am - 5.00pm, Elleray Hall, Elleray Road, Teddington, TW11 0HG.

Sunday 19th September, all day rehearsal, 10:00am - 5.00pm, Elleray Hall, Elleray Road, Teddington, TW11 0HG.

Sunday 26th September, 2.00 - 6.00, Holy Angels Church, High Street, Cranford, Middlesex, TW5 9RG. Whole ensemble, including orchestra, staggered times TBA.

Sunday 3rd October, 2.00 - 6.00, Holy Angels Church, High Street, Cranford, Middlesex, TW5 9RG. Whole ensemble, including orchestra, staggered times TBA.

Saturday 9th Oct, 2.00 - 6.00, St Francis of Assisi Church, Great West Road (just west of Syon Lane). Everyone (including full orchestra) is required for this rehearsal.

Production Week

Our tech is on Monday 11th and our Dress in on the 12th October.

Monday & Tuesday, call is 6.30. Wed Thurs Fri are performances, call 6.55.


Annee will be taking ad hoc coaching sessions where we feel this is helpful with the dialogue.
