As the Baroque Music Workshop of Hounslow Adult Education Music Centre, we staged productions of Handel’s Acis and Galatea in 2002 and Purcell’s Faerie Queene in 2003. We re-formed as an independent group, Isleworth Baroque, in 2004 and performed one of the very first English operas ever written, John Blow’s Venus and Adonis, composed in 1683.

The group is directed by Helena Brown

Our 2007 production was La Calisto by Cavalli sung in English	Our 2006 production was Dido and Aeneas by Purcell and Bastien and Bastienne by Mozart
Our 2005 production was King Arthur by Henry Purcell	Our 2004 production was Venus and Adonis by John Blow
