hee hee hee!

My plans for coming to the meeting tonight (which involved dragging a reluctant 7 year old along and bribing him with crisps) have been scuppered as I have just remembered that he has a friend round for tea.  Sorry about that.  In my absence, here's what I'd say -
1) yippee! we got dosh!
2) I've got all I need for the semi-costumes for the semi-opera - everyone may be required to make their own eye mask, materials provided. I'll do a demonstration of costume etc. on the 27th.
3) As I discussed with Ali, we may need to use the black drapes for IPH if we do it 'sideways' in the hall, in which case we need someone to put them up and take them down, and need to ensure that the lights are pointing in the right direction (IPH lighting man?). If we do it on the stage, we'll need the black cloth to staple round the apron extension, which needs to be put out for us.  Either way, these need finding and collecting (from Kate's???)  I am happy with general 'concert' lighting, no changes, no need for a lighting person, as long as the lights are there to begin with and pointing the right way.
4) I'd like to use 2 blocks - the white ones we made and used years ago.  Please could someone find out from Kate whether they are collectable? I'm sure I can go and get them and transport them venue to venue...
5) Helena mentioned the difficulties in transporting everything (lights, hps, other things).  Does anyone drive a van?  Have a trailer? To hire a small van for 3 days is about £100.  Otherwise we'll need to co-ordinate a team of transporters (e.g. my estate, Helena's, etc...)who are available each day.

Many apologies for my absence tonight.

Janet
